THE ZONE Pop-Up Gallery, a traveling project around the globe focusing on contemporary photography, presents the latest work of Stephan Ach: Joropo, Spiral of Seduction. The selected 7 images for this exhibition are an exploration to the essence of “Joropo”, a traditional Colombian dance that has its origins in Flemish and Andalusian dances. Its name comes from the Arabic word xarop, which means “syrup”; a syrup of expressions of the haughtiness, gallantry and chauvinism of its people.

“With this exhibition, Ach presents us his more personal work. Joropo, Spiral of Seduction aims to capture the Latin happiness and joy reflected in the spiral-like dance. Stephan Ach is able to capture the movement stretched in a fragment of time through his large scale prints.”

The exhibition will be open to the public during the next Art Week Miami, from 4th to 9th of December, at Wynwood, the most vibrant art district of the city.
